Can shower doors swing in?
Yes shower doors can swing in. The building codes states that all shower doors must
swing out. People ask us sometimes to have the door swing in only. This is illegal. One of the nicest things about frameless
shower doors is the fact that they can swing either way. There should never be anything that stops the door from swinging
out, hindering the door from an easy access. If a door jamb is placed on the wall or inline panel, it will stop the
door from swinging in. In some cases we need to install door jambs that in-able the door to pivot in. Our shower door hinges are self centering and are able to swing in or out.
